Two Tango Artists
Antonella Terrazas and Pablo Rodríguez are two Argentine artists who have devoted their lives to tango, standing out worldwide for their dance, improvisation, choreography, and teaching.
Antonella Terrazas
- Born in Mendoza, Argentina, into a family of artists
- Trained in classical dance, musical theater, and contemporary jazz
- Scholarship recipient at Teatro Colón and the Julio Bocca Foundation
- Choreographer, yoga and Pilates teacher
- Founder of Tango House Budapest, with locations in Hungary and Macedonia
- Has taught and performed in many countries, alongside artists such as Fernando Galera and Pablo Inza
- Jury member in tango competitions in Italy, Europe, and Asia
- Pedagogical focus on body awareness, musicality, and personal expression
Pablo Rodríguez
- Began his artistic career at the Astor Piazzolla music conservatory
- Studied theater, contemporary dance, and contact improvisation
- Tango dancer for over 23 years; has participated in festivals and taught workshops in more than 25 countries
- 1st place at the Buenos Aires City Metropolitan Tango Championship in 2006
- Has danced with Noelia Hurtado and Corina Herrera, among others
- Holds a degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Economics
- Founder of the San Telmo Tango Festival and the Milonga La Discépolo
- Currently teaches classes and seminars in tango pedagogy and tango history
