Daniel Calabrese is an Argentine poet born in Dolores, Buenos Aires, in 1962. He has published several poetry books, including “La faz errante,” “Futura ceniza,” “Escritura en un ladrillo,” “Singladuras,” “Oxidario,” and “Ruta Dos.” His work has been translated into multiple languages, such as Italian, English, French, Portuguese, Bulgarian, Greek, Chinese, and Japanese.

Calabrese moved to Chile in 1991 and founded the publishing house RIL Editores, where he serves as Publishing Director. He is also the founder and editor of the poetry magazine “Ærea.” His experience as a soldier during the Falklands/Malvinas War has influenced his work, especially his book “Ruta Dos,” which won the Revista de Libros Prize in 2013.
